Quizlet.com To be honest, Quizlet deserves the credit for the good grades that I do have. The site allows you to enter any type of information to study in an online flashcard, learn, test or game mode as well as study sets made by others. You aren’t required to but I strongly encourage you to create an account with them. Making an account will make it easier for you to join classes and make quizlets. A Helpful Tip: Join classes and study sets made by people from Asfa but beware of wrong information, we’re human too. Shmoop.com I’ve always had a hard time interpreting books published in the early 1800’s and if we’re being realistic about the homework load, sometimes you don’t have time to read four chapters. Thankfully, this website provides a detailed summary of what you missed. Shmoop covers most novels and short stories that we are assigned but don’t use this resource to slack. Remember that it is just a summary. BibMe.com I’m pretty sure everybody and their Momma knows that nobody actually writes their own bibliographies anymore. I’ve tried so many websites with bib in the url but hands down, bib me is the best. You can add anything from a book to a television show to your bibliography in several forms including MLA. MathWay.com This website can basically simplify any problem. It provides options for how you’d like the problem to be solved and gives a brief explanation with it. However if you’d like to see the problem worked out, you’d have to pay for a premium membership. But since most of us aren’t going to do that, I’d use this resource to check my math. SleepyTi.me.com I think it’s pretty safe to say most students attending Asfa are sleep deprived and this probably applies to some of our teachers as well. The website is pretty basic; you can enter the time you plan to get up so that the calculator can tell you what time(s) would be best for you to go to sleep or you could tell the calculator that you’re going to sleep at this very moment, and it would tell what time(s) are best for you to get up. Instructables.com This site is pretty common; some of you may have heard about it if you’re into DIY stuff. Anyway, it kinda works as a pintrest but is more resourceful when it comes to school project ideas. That doesn’t mean you should go around stealing people’s ideas; use this website for inspiration only. If you happen to be bored... 1. Successfully finish a homework assignment in the lunchroom before the 7:50am bell
2. Go upstairs (and i mean on the left side) before 7:40am without permission 3. Count how many times Mrs. Lebourg says ok in a class period 4. Get Slatton to rant about something only he cares about (such as millennials) 5. Debate with Mr. Craft about a film that he thought was doo doo 6. Ask Mr.Craft about the trifling list 7. Pass Algebra II with an 85 or above (if your naturally good at math, this does not apply to you) 8. Download a song that you learned in a foreign language class 9. Take a selfie with Mrs. Walden 10.Talk to Mrs. Bowser about Beyoncé 11. Be a team captain for a review game in ASUSH I 12. Win 3 review games in ASUSH I class 13. Talk to Mrs. Abernathy about Horses 14. Compare candy crush levels with Mrs. Godwin (this could also apply to Dr. Linchet) 16. Braid Mr. Leonard's Hair 17. Print something during the time given to change classes and make it to class on time (i don't recommend doing this if you have a teacher who is strict on attendance) 18. Talk to someone you know little about on retreat 19. Sit on a lunchroom table until Mr. Jay yells at you 20. Stand in the courtyard and bark at people on the sidewalk |
