The ASFAzine accepts contributions year-round from current and former students at the Alabama School of Fine Arts. Faculty can contribute as well! Send us anything: fiction, poetry, plays, a diary, a short film. Anything goes. Work can be in any language, but if it isn't in English, please send a translation alongside it. literatureFiction and nonfiction should be limited to about ten pages in total. Excerpts are accepted if they can stand alone.
Poetry: send up to five pages of poetry at a time about literally anything. Dramas: up to ten pages of your own original work. Cross-genre: we're open to pieces that really don't fit in one genre. Up to ten pages of experimental, cross-genre work will be accepted at a time. |
journalismJournalism: submit articles of any length on any subject.
Essays: wrote an under-appreciated essay for Mr. Craft? Send it to us. We'll give him a good talking-to about it. |
mediaVisual art: anything goes here. Paintings, sketches, sculptures, photographs. If you're proud of it, send it to us.
Film: short films of any length will be featured in the student work section. IMPORTANT: Upload piece(s) to YouTube first and then send it to us as a link in the body of the email. |
